And so please hear this message as a Teacher of the Lord speaking to show you The Walk of The Christian Believer who choses to Pursue Peace with God (first) and other. At the end of this Study it will all tie together where Pursuing Peace will be that much more sweeter and actually more of a sober nature to you. I only know it has for me.

Pursuing Peace, in general, begins with The Lord disciplining His Own with His Word through His Holy Spirit. Which means, His very Presence is to be in our Lives to strengthen and grow us up in His Dear Son - Jesus Christ:

Is a Son (Rom. 8:14) an obedient child? (Selah)
One more time - I want you to hear me,....
Is a son of The Lord, that receives reproof and discipline, obedient - is he an obedient child? And the Lord says I disciple you so that you can share in my holiness. Because every time I discipline you, you know that you have to deal with something. Amen? Is that Right? (Selah)
1 Peter 1:14-15 NAS
14 As obedient children, ((now that's who the son's are.))
do not be conformed to the former lusts ((of the flesh))
which were yours ((were yours, which means it's not any more.))
in your ignorance, ((you were in ignorance and you walked in darkness but now your walking in the light! Amen?))
15 but like the Holy One ((The Lord Jesus Christ who's is your Master))
who called you, ((He called you, He called you!!!))

be holy yourselves also in all ((all, all, all, all, all, all, all, all, all, all. It's does say "all"))
your behavior; ((And you can not be Holy in your behavior when you walk after the lust and that's what Peter is telling you. And that's how doctrines, that do not conform you to Godliness, leaves out HOLINESS. And leaves out Judgment (John 5:30, Jude 1:15).

1 Peter 1:16 because it is written, ((The Lord said.))
"You shall be holy, for I am holy."
Look at Verse 17:
17 And if you address as Father the One who impartially judges ((He going to Judge. And your calling Him Father,...))

during the time of your stay upon earth;
Verse 22:
22 Since you have in ((What?))
obedience to the truth ((------>The Word of God))

purified your souls ((Your mind, will and emotions. See that's where the powers of darkness seek to devour. (Eph 6:12, 1Pet 5:8-11, 2 Tim 4:17)) So abstain from fleshly lusts which war against our soul!(1Pet 2:11) See, lust brings the powers of darkness to get your mind will and emotions. And that's what they attack.))

But since you have in obedience to the truth purified your souls ((Your mind, will and emotions.))
for a sincere love of the brethren, ((And that's what your purified for - for Love: Your remove Selfishness.))
fervently love one another from ((Where?))
the heart, ((That's Holiness!))
23 for you have been born again ((This Word of God has washed you. It's washes you! And this is how your Born Again by The Word of God! Your transformed into the Image of Jesus, but you can't be if Jesus doesn't have all of your Heart.))
not of seed which is perishable but imperishable, that is, through the living and abiding word of God. NAS ((Now that's How He disciplines you to share in His Holiness!!!))
